- We have collaborated for many years with Alfa Agro since Per Christerson founded the company originally in 2004 as a co-owner with other family members. Now the time has come for his family members to take a step back and focus on their other activities, while we are stepping in to continue the business. We know the company, the staff and its true potential, this is the reason for our engagement, states Krister Wiengren, one of the owners of Farm Mac AB. - Last year we had a turnover of close to 3 M€uro and we are not a big and major company in Lithuania, but with a strong relationships to farmers since we are very active on service and after markets, states Arunas Simkunas, the company's CEO. For me, I see a good future with the new owners. The aim of Farm Mac is to increase to focus on mobile solutions and Alfa Agro Prekyba will now bring bagging systems and similar mobile techniques to its assortement for forage crop handling. - We'll try to establish ourselves on the Russian and Ukranian markets onwards, states Per Christerson, one of the owners of Farm Mac. Lately we have grown tremendously in this area with mobile grain storages, grain carts and similar technologies, foremost to foreign investors. The next step is to set up a network of smaller - and thus flexible - dealers whom will participate in the growth of sales of machinery suitable for expanding farmers in CIS area looking for flexible, cost effective solutions. But, as both new owners and the staff at Alfa Agro Prekyba has agreed upon - we'll still keep strong focus on the domestic market, serving old clients and their needs. Farm Mac AB also owns UAB Farm Mac, a company established in 2004, specialised in mobile grain handling systems.
